Description
-----------

Advanced Tetric is a little more than just Tetris. It also 
includes Pentix, a popular variation of Tetris that's more 
complicated and more interesting, Color Tetris and two additional 
variations of Tetris (Advanced Tetris, Advanced Pentix).

There are also eight different block sets to play with: blocks,
numerals, kinetics, dice, wild, planes, plasma and misc. You can 
use your own sound effects if you like, but the preset sounds will 
not disturb you while you play.

Outstanding graphic is one more advantage, which will bring you to 
the world of pleasure and fun, to the world of Advanced Tetric.

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

   - IBM PC-compatible computer;
   - 8 bit color video card (640x480 resolution mode);
   - Windows 95/98/2000 or Windows NT;

Recommended system:

   - 16 bit color video card;
   - sound card with Windows 95/98/2000/NT support.


Installation
------------

Important! If you've got AT not from our web page, but from
the other source (magazine CD or some software library), please
visit our home page - you'll probably find the later version;
usually, we release the updates about once a month.

To install AT, just run the "setup.exe" and follow the
instructions.

Before you contact us, please do the following:

- Be sure that you're doing everything right. We all make
  mistakes sometimes... Be attentive.
- Look at the Help file: it may already contain an answer to
  your question. A lot of people ask us something like "how
  do I:", though the complete information is there.

  http://www.pcbit.com/at.html. It's a good chance that you'll
  find the newer version of AT there. If the serious bug has
  been found in the program, but the new version is not ready yet,
  we make the hot fix for it.

But if you still have a problem with AT and noting else helps,

   - Advanced Tetric version (from "About" dialog)
   - Advanced Tetic registration key (if you're a registered user)
   - where did you get Advanced Tetric (http or ftp site)
   - Windows 95/98/NT version (including service packs and other
     fixes installed), US or international, OEM or not
   - computer information: CPU type and speed, installed memory
   - description of your problem (as much information as possible
     to retrieve the problem)

Note: you may want to read the "How to Determine the Version of
Windows 95 in Use" article by Microsoft. Use the following URL:

In order to get the complete computer information (working under
Windows 95), open the Control Panel, click on "System" applet and
press "Print" on "Device Manager" tab.
